The floor to ceiling height in the basement was quite tight already, so specialised thinner membranes had to be used on the floor to give as much finished head room as possible.
Project Details
The basement was stripped out, with everything removed from the walls and floor. A new sump was then installed and linked to the rest of the basement by underground drains throughout.
The walls were then membraned with membranes that have a lattice of lathe on to allow the bonding of plasterwork directly on to it. The floor was lined, and everything sealed.
