The basement is under a mid-terrace property, so the greatest challenge was the access to the site. All of the building materials had to be brought in by hand, often only small amounts at a time.
Project Details
Starting with a very small space, used only for wood storage, Beautiful Basements created a much larger feeling family space.
Underpinning the walls and lowering the floor by nearly half a metre gave the basement the head height needed.
The basement was waterproofed using a type C, cavity membrane system, linked to a pumping station
